When I arrived in Brighton in the evening my new family, Steve, Jane and Elenor, picked me up from the airport. The little girl hugged me immediately and held my hand while we walked to the car. She was trying to tell me everything about her in the car, on the way home. They showed me around in the house, where some building and renovation work are going on in the moment. Jane asked me if I'd like a cup of tea, and we laughed on what a cliche that is. In the meantime Edward arrived home from his Auntie's house. He was already in his pjs, so Jane put him in his bed. Eleanor wanted me to go to the bathroom with her while she is having a bath, and then asked me to read a bedtime story for her (or three of them). When both of them were asleep Jane made dinner for us, we sat down at the table together, talked about various things. Steve asked me if i like my schedule and they thanked me for agreeing to watch the kids on the weekend. The next day I unpacked all my stuff , I had whole morning to myself, after that we started playing. On a usual day we wake up at 6-7-8 in the morning, dress up, have breakfast, take Edward to the nursery with Eleanor, the we play at home, have lunch, watch some cartoons, do some schoolwork, play a little more and then we walk to the nursery to get Ed. If the weather is good we might go to the nearby parks, ther are som cool playgrounds around here! At home we have dinner, then bath time, bedtime stories, some goodnight songs and sleeping. Of course it's not this simple every day, if Jane is at home she might take Ed to the nursery or the kids want to have a bath with her or ask her to read their bedtime stories. One morning we went to the Booth museum with Ellie, it's very close to us and she likes it a lot, but on the way home it started rainin and we got soaked. On an other day we took the train to Hove, it's only like 5 mins on the train, and we went to the museum there, where they had a toy exhibition and some cool inventions.we took the train home, but it didn't stop at our station! We went for another 10 minutes, when we got off at the first station possible, took back a train to Brighton, which, unbelievably didn't stop at our station! At this point I was just a tad angry. Finally, the train going to Bedford stopped at our station and we were lucky enough to make it on time to get Ed form nursery. The weekend was more exhausting than the days before, both of them were home with me at the same time, and I was alone with them most of the time. They wanted to play two different things at the same time, in two separate rooms, with a little fighting and crying, so we went to the playground to have a little fun. It was very hard to take the, home from there, Ed was crying and kicking like crazy, people must have thought I'm kidnapping him or something and Ellie started playing hide and seek ... but somehow we made it home! All in all, they are super cute, I love them! I'm so lucky to have a "job" I like doing this much! :)
